Remove the jack quickly and set the iron onto the entire beam.

Place the jack back underneath the beam but this time under the iron piece.
Put in the remaining carriage bolts in 2 6 rafter and fix them tightly.
This is the time to tighten the attached carriage bolts.
Press the shingle down and apply a second bead of sealant on top of the crack.
Next install and tape and finish new 5 8 in.
Moderate repairs are likely fixing and or sealing fixtures on the roof and replacing shingles and flashing around these objects.
But if your ceiling sags more than 3 4 in use 2x2s screw the 1x3s to the truss framing with 2 1 2 in.
